HISTORY

GS AIR is happy to be Iberojet's preferred sales agent for Italy.

Iberojet, until 2020 Evelop Airlines, is a Spanish private airline operating short- and long-haul flights from Spain and Portugal, mainly to tourist destinations in Latin America. Iberojet flies to Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Mauritius, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. It is owned by Barceló Viajes and is based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

In 2013, the Barceló Group announces the creation of Evelop Airlines, its own airline, 100% owned by the travel subsidiary Barceló Viajes.

In March 2017, Evelop obtains the certificates of compliance with the international standards ISO 9001 "Quality Management Systems" and ISO 14001 "Environmental Management Systems" granted by SGS, a company dedicated to inspection, verification, testing and certification. Both certificates are currently in force.

In January 2018 Evelop becomes a member of the International Air Carriers Association (IATA) and reniews the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certificate previously issued by IATA.

In March 2019, Evelop receives its first Airbus A350-900, intended for long-haul operations.

On December 8, 2020, Evelop merged with Orbest and was renamed Iberojet.
